Guillermo Aguilar Huerta is an op-artist from Mexico, living in Germany. He works traditionally, using materials such as wood and plastic, and produces paintings as well as sculptures and installations. He works with geometric shapes, playing with the idea that there is an unlimited number of forms and combinations that can be created. In his work he fills geometric shapes with universal patterns and typical Mexican patterns which add colour and warmth.
